Last year was our son’s first time riding in the Courage Classic, and it quickly became something he truly loved being part of with our family. He had a procedure at Children’s Hospital Colorado and still talks about how comfortable and supported he felt there, especially with Child Life helping him through it and making everything feel less scary. He also loves going to visit me at work in the PICU and watching the “ball machine,” which has become one of his favorite things. Riding alongside other families and patients last year was incredibly meaningful for him, and we left feeling so inspired by everyone we met. He’s really excited to do it again this year and keep supporting a place that has given so much care and comfort to kids like him.
