My team, Wheels of Justice, is dedicated to raising funds and awareness for pediatric cancer and blood disorders.
Five years ago, I became a pediatric oncology nurse—one of the most meaningful decisions of my life. This work gives me a deep sense of purpose. It allows me to witness some of the most difficult moments families will ever face, while also being part of their greatest victories and celebrations.
I feel incredibly honored to work in a field that is constantly innovating—advancing treatments, expanding research, and improving outcomes for children and their families.
I ride for the kids. Please consider donating in honor of every child who has bravely chosen to fight cancer.
When I grow up, I hope to be as courageous and strong as the children I care for every day.
Most importantly, I am doing this in honor of my cousin, Alaina, who was diagnosed with Ewing Sarcoma as a young teenager. She fought incredibly hard, but in 2014, cancer took her life.
I promised myself that I would live a life that would make Alaina proud.
