At just five years old, Beau was diagnosed with coarctation of the aorta, a congenital heart defect that could have changed the course of his life. Thanks to the incredible care he received at Children’s Hospital Colorado, his heart was repaired with a stent, allowing him to recover quickly and return to doing what he loves. Today, Beau is a dedicated student, a passionate athlete, and a competitor in hockey, ski racing, lacrosse, soccer, and golf. His journey has inspired a dream of becoming a cardiologist so he can one day help children facing challenges like his own. We are forever grateful to the team at Children’s Hospital Colorado for giving Beau the opportunity to thrive and pursue his dreams without limits."
