I am supporting the Courage Classic for patients like Blake.
We feel incredibly fortunate to live near Children’s Hospital Colorado, where Blake has received exceptional care throughout her journey. To date, she has undergone six heart procedures, including four catheterizations and two open-heart surgeries. Following her Fontan procedure in August 2025 and a catheterization in March 2026 to place a stent in her IVC, she is now clear of procedures for the foreseeable future.
Today, Blake is thriving. She loves ballet, playing with her younger sister, Drew, and riding bikes with friends in our neighborhood. Throughout this journey, the support from our family, friends, and community has meant more than words can express.
While we know each day is a gift, we feel beyond blessed to watch Blake grow, flourish, and embrace childhood with so much joy."
