Dear Friends and Family,
I’m excited to ride for the Dream Team in this upcoming Courage Classic, which will take place out at Copper Mountain from June 18-19; it’s coming right up! The Dream Team was formed by members of the Anesthesiology Department at CU Anschutz. One of the doctors - Alan Bielsky - invited me to join his team. I’ve taught two of his kids at Denver Jewish Day School. They were great students, and they’re a terrific family. It was an honor to be asked to be part of the Dream Team. After I accepted the invitation, I suffered a minor finger injury playing football against 4th and 5th graders at DJDS. The injury required surgery (5 weeks with a pin in my left middle finger), and I didn’t know if I’d be able to ride. But, I was back out on the bike today - June 21st - (after 2 months of only riding on a stationary bike), and I’m convinced I’ll be able to ride. This is, indeed, an important cause. It allows me to ride with some great people and to do something I love. And - much more importantly - all donations go to helping Children's Hospital Colorado continue to be an outstanding institution providing care for children suffering from everyday problems to incredibly rare diseases. I deeply appreciate any support you’re able to provide!
Sincerely,
Tommy
