Sweet Myles
I am a part of Team MSC to honor Myles, Sully, and Camden.
While I didn't have the privilege of meeting Sully or Camden, I can confidently say that Myles was one of the sweetest, most giggly children. You wouldn't have known he was navigating life threatening challenges by the nature of the warm, playful, and positive energy he brought to every environment. He was consistently a joy to be around.
Thanks to phenomenal doctors at Children's Hospital Colorado, Myles's family was able to get a diagnosis within twenty four hours of arriving at the hospital and work with experts to shift their focus on ensuring Myles lived out the rest of his life in comfort and surrounded by love.
I'm grateful for the clarity, care, and support the providers at the hospital gave each of these boys' parents during an incredibly trying time and hope to honor their families and doctors through donations from the event.
While I can't be physically present at the ride this year, I recognize it's a representation of something much greater than a single weekend event. This cause goes far beyond the time together as a team on July 18-19 and I look forward to exploring new ways to stay connected and elevate the memories of those who we've lost off the course too.
