Hi there!
You may know that Burn Camp’s relationship with Children’s Hospital Colorado evolved in the last year, and camp is now being run by the nonprofit organization, No Ordinary Camps. We are excited to continue to support the burn team and their efforts to actively work to provide kids the services they need post injury and to facilitate their participation in burn camp at No Ordinary Camps.
Our goal is to raise $50,000 to support the Burn Center and its Aftercare Program all while promoting No Ordinary Camps. Burn care at Children's Colorado provides support from injury through recovery. The Aftercare Program extends beyond physical healing to include psychosocial support through our school reentry program, community events, and connecting burn survivors with the Burn Camps Program of No Ordinary Camps. This continuum of services connects patients with a community of burn survivors to help them to thrive after their injury.
Even though the recipient of S’more Courage’s donation efforts changed, we are still committed to No Ordinary Camp’s goal of creating intentional camp experiences for pediatric burn survivors and their families. We have a strong community and we can’t wait to get together for another fun plus weekend of cycling in the mountains for a good cause.
This year I am riding the 80-mile Copper Triangle and 60-mile Loveland Pass route on July 19th and 20th. Your support means so much to me and the parents and families at Children's Hospital Colorado.
Thank you for stopping by and supporting this effort!
