I'm back riding the Courage Classic with the Wheels of Justice team!
I'm getting back on the bike and will do my best to honor Jim and Martha and all those families, kids, medical providers and supportive friends who work to kick cancer's ass. I'll be honest- losing Jim this past September has kicked my ass. Grief is no joke. Losing Jim feels like climbing Vail pass everyday. Everyday I'm not sure I can stay on the bike, but I seem to keep peddling.
What gets me back on my bike is thinking about all the children and families affected by this terrible disease and the cuts in funding for cancer research. These unbelievably cruel cuts may send us back 20 years in finding options. Please consider donating. The funds we raise directly go to the Center for Cancer and Blood disorders (CCBD) at Children's Hospital Colorado- funding research and mental health support.
