This year, I’m proud to ride with the PICU Peloton in honor of the patients and families I’ve had the privilege of caring for in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit.
As a wound, ostomy, and continence nurse, I care for some of the most critically ill children at Children’s Hospital Colorado. In the PICU, patients face life-threatening illnesses, traumatic injuries, complex surgeries, and prolonged hospital stays. Many experience challenges that require specialized wound and skin care as they fight to heal and recover. It is an honor to be part of the team supporting these children and their families through some of the most difficult moments of their lives.
Participating in the Courage Classic is my way of giving back to the children and families who inspire me every day. The funds raised help Pediatric Intensive Care Unit to continue providing world-class care, innovative treatments, specialized programs, and critical resources that make a difference for our sickest patients.
Every mile I ride represents a child who has fought through unimaginable challenges, a family who has shown extraordinary strength, and a healthcare team committed to helping patients heal and thrive. Their courage is the reason I ride.
Thank you for supporting a cause that is deeply meaningful to me and helps ensure that Children’s Hospital Colorado can continue providing exceptional care to the patients and families who need it most.
Please join me in supporting Children’s Hospital Colorado by making a donation today.
Thank you!!
