Why I ride
Well, this is the 37th time I've participated in the CC and many of you have donated many times, some all 36 so far! I'm one of about 10 "Founders" who have participated in all the CCs.
Last year I couldn't ride as I had a heart surgery 2 days before the CC. So I was a rode marshal. This year I will ride but how far remains to be seen. I've been advised that cardio-exercise is in my best interest, but climbing mountain passes? Hmm.
Over the years I have learned that sometimes there is a point in a ride when you should stop. So if and when that occurs will depend upon how successful my training will be.
We shall see.
As usual, Doris and I have made the base pledge necessary to ride. Anything you donate are bonus bucks. I realize times and priorities change. But it all goes to the Children's Hospital so thanks for anything you can donate.
