Colorado Children's is one of the leading programs in this field. During my away rotations here, I was blown away by their ability to provide expensive gene therapies to kiddos with conditions like Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy or Spinal Muscular Atrophy that would have completely taken away their ability to play, walk, or even taken their life.
