I am riding to support all Children's Hospital Colorado patients including our buddy and Heart Warrior, Hawkin.
Hawkin was born with an undiagnosed condition called Transposition of the Great Arteries (TGA). Shortly after birth he was airlifted to Children's Hospital and had heart surgery at 7 days old. He received incredible care, spending a month in the hospital before going home. Now 7 years later, watching Hawkin on the soccer field or playing with his brothers or puppy, you'd never guess he needed life-saving care at birth!
Jon and I are riding the Courage Classic with Hawkin's parents (a.k.a. Bradley's lacrosse coach) to support the Cardiac Team at Children's Hospital, in hopes that other kids experience positive outcomes and healthier futures like Hawkin. Please donate if you can!
