My experience with Texas 4000 for Cancer introduced me to cycling and the opportunity it brings to create positive change in communities. I am getting back on the bike, this time in the Rocky Mountains supporting Children’s Hospital Colorado as a participant in the Courage Classic. Children’s Hospital Colorado is a nonprofit health system serving children and families in Montana, Wyoming, and New Mexico, while working to improve access to specialized care.
As I ride, I will honor Max Johnson (pictured), who was diagnosed with a congenital heart defect at just 2 years old and underwent open-heart surgery at age 5. Since then, he has faced complications, including endocarditis and multiple procedures, and is now preparing for his next surgery. I am honored to ride for Max and encouraged by his strength and resiliency.
Any donation amount in support of Max and my Courage Classic Ride is impactful and greatly appreciated. Thank you for your support!
