Hello!
I am participating in the Courage Classic Bicycle Tour in July to raise money for Children's Hospital Colorado patients and families. This will be my 4th time riding, and I have set a goal to raise $500 because I want to help Children's Colorado ensure healthier futures for kids.
This year I will be riding for Nico. In March of 2024, 3 year old Montana native, Nico was diagnosed with Primary Sclerosing Cholangitis. This condition is quite rare in adults but even more rare in children with a prevalence of 1.5 cases per 100,000 children. Nico and his family have been traveling back and forth to Colorado Children's Hospital for testing, check ins, and more, as Nico will be looking at a liver transplant in the near future. Post transplant, Nico will take anti-rejection medication for life.
