I am proud to be riding in the 2025 Courage Classic for patients like my buddy Carter.
Carter is a 15-year-old boy with a huge heart and joy for life. He brings his joy to every relationship despite being a double amputee, suffering from chronic pain, and surviving 40+ surgeries to-date. Carter has Caudal regression syndrome, a health condition that damaged his spinal development early on and left him with paraplegia, along with chronic kidney disease.
Carter’s attitude toward life is amazing and infectious. He loves to ski in the winter and rock climb year-round. When he is not in school or participating in those activities you can find him hanging with friends and family or playing video games. He is looking forward to graduating high school in a few years with his diploma and an associate degree!
