I am riding the Courage Classic for my Heart Warriors and patients like Gracie.
Gracie was born in 2013 with Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome. She underwent 3 open heart surgeries by the age of 2. She developed a lymphatic flow disorder called Plastic Bronchitis due to her single ventricle circulation. Years and years of dealing with the PB as well as finding liver fibrosis, it was determined that a heart and liver transplant was her next journey. She received her gift on 5.15.25 and we are still in the trenches of recovering.
She is 12, and the most amazing artist. Painting is her favorite. Friends are very important and she is such a kind and patient person. She’s funny and strong and despite everything she’s been through, she is so happy."
