This year, I'm riding the Courage Classic to support Children's Hospital Colorado and I need your help! I will be riding in a team with my coworkers from the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit. Every mile my team and I ride is for kids and families who rely on the hospital for life saving care.
In these challenging times, I’ve been looking for meaningful ways to connect with my community — and getting involved in this ride has given me hope for our community.
As someone who cares for critically ill kids every day, I witness their strength and resilience up close. These children go through things no one should ever have to face — and yet they fight with incredible courage. I’m doing this ride for them, for the kids who won’t ever get a chance to do something like this.
This ride will push me physically and mentally but it’s a small way I can honor these amazing kids and show them that they’re not alone — that we’re all riding for them.
