Forest, Children's Hospital Colorado patient crossing the finish line at the 2024 Courage Classic
I am riding in the courage classic in honor of my late brother Gus.
Gus had a severe coarction of the Aorta and he was treated at Children's Hospital Colorado in the Cardiac ICU for two weeks. I was able to visit him in the hospital and see the care that he received. I was supported by the children's life team when it came time to say goodbye to Gus.
We have made the Courage Classic an annual event for our family. We are proud to celebrate and ride in honor of Gus. This year I am starting my very own fundraising journey in honor of Gus.
