Forty years ago, June 10, 1985, was my first experience with Children’s Hospital, their doctors and the healthcare workers in NICU. On that day, my triplets were born 6-1/2 weeks prematurely at Poudre Valley Hospital, Fort Collins—two of whom were transported within hours to Children’s Hospital.
Because of the professional dedication, timely communication and diligent caring; these two babies (a boy and a girl) were able to join their sister at PVH and be with their mom and dad once again. All three have grown to be healthy, happy, self-reliant, mature individuals, for whom I’m very proud.
In honor of Children’s Hospital and in celebration of this milestone; I am cycling the Courage Classic—initially donating $120–which is 3 times their 40 years of life.
Good things comes in “threes!”
