This July I’ll be riding 80 miles in the Courage Classic to raise money for Children’s Hospital Colorado. This is my second year participating, and I couldn’t be more proud to ride alongside some of our dearest friends, the Rabold family, whose son Elliott lives with Cerebral Palsy. The funds raised support programs like ARCH (Adaptive Recreation for Childhood Health), which has given Elliott the chance to experience joy, adventure, and community through sports and recreation tailored to his needs. It's a program that meets kids where they are and empowers them to thrive.
Last year, I rode for Elliott.
This year, I’m also riding for our son Harrison.
Harrison is 6 years old, and this past year, he was diagnosed with ADHD. Thanks to the incredible outpatient therapy team at Children’s Hospital Colorado — especially his occupational therapist, Amanda — we’ve seen a transformation not just in Harrison, but in our whole family. The tools, strategies, and support we've received have helped Harrison grow in confidence, improve frustration tolerance, and live more joyfully. Therapy days aren’t a chore for him — they're something he looks forward to.
So, this ride is personal.
Whether it’s through adaptive sports or behavioral health services, Children’s Hospital Colorado is helping kids across our state feel seen, supported, and strong.
If you’re able, I’d be honored if you'd support my ride. Every dollar helps fund the kind of care that changes lives — like it has for Elliott and Harrison.
Thank you for cheering me on — and for investing in brighter futures for kids like ours.
