It's hard to believe, but I have worked at Children's Hospital Colorado for 8 years. Between pediatric residency, pulmonary fellowship, and working in the emergency department, I have spent countless hours in this hospital.
Now as a pediatric pulmonologist, I care primarily for preterm infants in the NICU and in outpatient clinics. Watching these fragile babies navigate harrowing times in the NICU, then grow and and thrive into toddlers and children out of the hospital is the most rewarding and fulfilling part of my job. I will work my hardest to make sure their breathing and lung development doesn't hold back their play, learning, and growth.
My patients never cease to amaze me with their courage, humor, and resilience, even in situations that would make most adults anxious or scared. My amazing patients are one of the many reasons I love my job, and they inspire me to continually learn and improve my skills.
I am riding Courage Classic for my patients and their families because they deserve the best medical care. Please join me in supporting positive outcomes and healthier futures for all the patients at Children's Hospital Colorado!
