I am supporting the Courage Classic for patients like Lyla and Asa.
Lyla needed to have open heart surgery when she was 2 years old. As her sister, I tried to help in any way that I could. However, I was only 5 and couldn’t do much. When this opportunity arose to help patients just like her, I jumped at the chance.
My friend Asa, was the victim of a road rage shooting and has had many surgeries at Children’s Hospital Colorado. He survived the unthinkable at the age of only 7 thanks to the amazing team at Children’s Hospital.
This is why I ride. I ride to help patients just like Lyla and Asa.
