I am riding in the Courage Classic 2025 to give hope to Children’s Hospital Colorado patients like Martha Reidel.
Martha was diagnosed with Ewing sarcoma at the age of 13. She fought that cancer for 7 years until she was 20. She never gave up. She loved life and loved to make things. She rode with the Boulder Mountain bike team and the Courage Classic even while she was taking chemo. I didn't know Martha, but I ride with her parents, Ned & Margaret, and several friends of hers on the Wheels of Justice group.
Please consider giving to support my ride and Children's Hospital to help get rid of children's cancer and blood disorders.
Currently, there is a generous donation match until May 15th, so your gift doubles right now.
The Courage Classic is an opportunity to support positive outcomes and healthier futures for kids like Martha.
I also have a grandson, Aiden, who has benefitted from the caring emergency teams at Children's Hospital as he has dealt with breathing issues from asthma and RSV. Aiden is 5 years old and will be joining his dad, Chris Sjaardema, and myself on the 2025 Courage Classic ride this year.
Thank you for any assistance!
