This year I ride for my son Everett and the Cardio thoracic team at children’s.
On April 21 Everett underwent a surgery to fix his double aortic arch. He handled the whole thing like an absolute champ. He was the calming force for Kristie and I as we internally went through all the negatives possibilities that could happen.
He is currently trying his best to take it easy and rest up. He cannot wait to get back to swimming, playing basketball and wrestling with his sister ASAP!
The care we received from everyone at children’s was absolutely incredible. From the nurses, to the Dr’s, to the support staff. Everyone was so caring and helpful throughout a very stressful situation! We feel so grateful that we live near such an incredible hospital that took amazing care of our little guy!
