Hi, there
I am fully aware that the riding my bike for two days in the mountains of Colorado is more akin to taking a cruise than facing fear or pain or rejection, but solidarity is found in doing hard things in the name of others. And these rides are truly hard.
I’ll join my colleagues on the Pulmonary Pedalers Team to ride a total of 140 miles and 11,600 ft of elevation gain. The Copper Triangle awaits us on the first day, covering 80 miles and climbing three mountain passes between Copper Mountain, Leadville and Vail. We’ll come back the next morning to ride another 60 miles around Lake Dylan on our way to the top of Loveland pass and back.
I ask YOU to join in our efforts by donating to a proud institution dedicated to the mission of caring for children.
Let's do this!
PS: Just to challenge myself a little more, I'm riding the Triple Bypass the week before the Courage. That's one day, 120 miles, and three mountain passes. I figure if kids can face the crazy, scary, painful hard stuff that they do, I can do a little bit more of it myself ...
