I’ve spent the last 13 years working in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit at Children’s Hospital Colorado. I thought I had seen it all. Then, 2 years ago, my daughter Eloise was born—and everything changed.
In an instant, I went from being a healthcare provider to being a mom in the fight of her life. Eloise has faced 8 procedures in her short life and she has faced each one with strength and resilience. Walking this path as a parent has been the most humbling, eye-opening experience of my life. It’s shown me a new side of the hospital I thought I knew so well. And it’s made me even more grateful for the extraordinary care, compassion and hope that Children’s Colorado provides to families like mine every day.
That’s why, for the second time, I’ll be riding 80 miles through the Rocky Mountains in July to raise money for the hospital that means everything to me, both as a provider and as a mom.
Every dollar raised supports kids like Eloise and families like ours, giving them strength and support as they navigate complex and lifelong illnesses. If you’re able, I would be so grateful if you’d consider donating to this cause that’s so close to my heart.
Thank you for believing in this mission and in kids like Eloise.
