This is my second year riding in the Courage Classic, and I’m proud to be fundraising for patients like Hayden! I first met Hayden and her family after a biking accident left her with a traumatic brain injury. As her nurse, I had the privilege of watching her incredible journey as she relearned how to walk, talk, and eat—overcoming challenge after challenge with strength and determination.
A few years later, I had the joy of reconnecting with Hayden as the camp nurse at Camp Zenith @BOEC in Breckenridge. Watching her climb the rock wall and tackle the ropes course was a full-circle moment—proof of how far she’s come and how resilient she truly is.
Please consider donating to the Courage Classic Fundraiser, which supports the health and healing of kids like Hayden—both in the hospital and beyond its walls. Every contribution makes a difference!
