I know one thing that I will have in common with my bike at the end of the ride. We'll both be two tired [ba dum tiss]
I'm proud to be participating in the Children's Hospital Colorado Courage Classic, a fundraising bike ride that supports world-class pediatric care for kids and families across the region. This event is more than just a ride; it's a celebration of courage, community, and compassion.
This year, I am riding to honor the memory of Lylah Rae.
Lylah Rae was born at CHC, she had a total of 4 surgeries with one of them being back to back within a week! She exceeded a lot of doctor’s expectations and shocked everyone in the hospital. Lylah Rae fought the good fight against CHD for 10 months, never letting anything stop her each day that went by. She was the strongest warrior this world could ever meet! Though she be little, she is fierce.
Every mile I ride helps raise vital funds for Children's Hospital Colorado, supporting innovative treatments, research, and care for every child. I'm riding for the brave patients like Lylah Rae and their tremendous families and friends who find hope and support at Children’s Colorado every day.
Joining hundreds of riders, I’m committed to pedaling with purpose and making a real difference. Together, we can ensure brighter, healthier futures for kids who need it most.
I'm asking all my friends, family, and CHCO supporters to join me in supporting all the fierce kiddos and families that receive care at Children’s. Any donation, large or small, can help.
The Courage Classic is not only a personal challenge, but also an opportunity to support positive outcomes and healthier futures for children and their families.
