I have the unique opportunity to care for children and their families who face health challenges every day, I am riding Courage Classic in their honor. I am always amazed at the strength they show in the face of adversity.
I am blessed to have two very healthy children, but both have required services at Children's Hospital Colorado, and I am grateful for the excellent care they each received (on multiple occasions...) by an incredible team of doctors, nurses and staff. From the ED, surgical and therapy services, we have always had great experiences.
I have been a part of the Pulmonary Peddlers as a virtual participant in the past, but this is my first year riding alongside my teammates. I am intimidated by the challenge, but know I will make it up this mountain with the strength of my incredible patients pushing me along.
