Hiya friends, family, and colleagues,
I’ve ridden for years, quietly fundraising but rarely reaching out beyond my immediate circle.
That changes this year. We’re living through unsettling times for both healthcare and science—the twin engines of care and knowledge that have pushed our society toward longer, better lives. I worry about the families we serve and, just as much, about the colleagues working overtime to keep the system afloat.
You and I both see the strain: families waiting too long for help, services shrinking in certain communities, clinicians juggling heavy caseloads with too few resources.
