I’m riding in the Courage Classic to raise support for children like our daughter Jordyn.
In 2005, Jessica and I were stepping into the unknown, about to welcome our baby girl diagnosed with spina bifida. After shirking off the recommendation from a doctor to consider an abortion because “people don’t like to have imperfect babies with special needs”, we had no idea what to expect.
Jordyn was born and immediately prepped and sent off to surgery to repair a gap in her lower spine. Sitting in the NICU we relied on our faith to carry us through.
But we also had to support and care of the Children’s Hospital. Multiple visits in those early years were handled with care, comfort and commitment to not just serving our little girl, but us as well.
And we’re so happy share that Jordyn, now a young adult, is our miracle baby, thriving and doing great.
Would you consider partnering with me to raise support for current and future families like ours?
