Courage Classic 2025 is almost here! This year my dad and I are riding in honor of Annabelle, who was attacked by a shark on vacation last summer and lost her right leg, in addition to sustaining severe hand injuries. Her recovery has been complicated by a rare life-threatening infection, but this young lady is unstoppable. I have been privileged to play a part in Annabelle's journey, and despite seemingly insurmountable obstacles, she has made an unbelievable recovery!
Annabelle's story is a perfect example of what we do at Children's, and why we work so hard to support kids recovering from traumatic injuries. Your donation in honor of Annabelle will support the Musculoskeletal Research Center at the Orthopedics Institute of Children's Hospital Colorado, which is an international leader in both basic science and clinical research.
