On July 20th and 21st, for the fifth year in a row, I will be participating as a member of The Global Down Syndrome Foundation's Dare to Ride Team in the 2024 Courage Classic to fundraise for the Anna and John J. Sie Center for Down Syndrome at Children's Hospital Colorado. The Sie Center is one of the largest pediatric medical care centers for Down syndrome in the world, providing expert and comprehensive medical care to children and adolescents with Down syndrome.
We are very excited to continue to ride together again as a team, for the fourth year in a row (since the pandemic forced us to ride virtually in 2020), with the mission of raising money to provide the best clinical care and therapeutic intervention to children with Down syndrome and up-to-date information on Down syndrome to parents, physicians, and the community.
In gratitude for your fundraising dollars I commit to riding 123 miles in Summit County over 2 days to raise funds and awareness for the Anna and John J. Sie Center for Down Syndrome. Last year, with your help, I raised $1371. I'd like to see if we can collectively help me raise $5000 towards our team's collective goal of raising $50k for the Sie Center.
The recently released "Assume That I Can" campaign videos exemplify what the Sie Center strives to foster. Take a look!
