Hi everyone! I'm back for my 5th Courage Classic, tackling the 65-mile Minturn route and 44-mile Lake Dillon loop alongside Sam, Randy, and our amazing volunteer team!
Working in Denver Health's School-Based Health Centers, I see firsthand how Children's Hospital extends our reach, providing specialty care to kids who might otherwise go without. From my student days witnessing skull reconstructions to now referring my own patients, I've seen the incredible impact this institution makes.
This year, I'm pedaling with purpose for the Infectious Disease team, hoping to raise $1,000 to support both their groundbreaking research and their current work with families facing serious illnesses. When the mountain climbs get tough, I think of the kids fighting even harder battles.
