I ride for all current and former Children’s Hospital Colorado patients, but one in particular holds a special place in my heart.
In 2018, our youngest son, Hawkin, was born with undiagnosed Transposition of the Great Arteries (TGA). He was rushed to Children's Hospital Colorado and at seven days old he had heart surgery (the switch) to correct it. What an amazing chapter in our life that was. Now seven years later and he's just as wild and crazy as his two older brothers. Can't imagine our life without this sweet, funny, loving little man!
The Courage Classic is an opportunity to support positive outcomes and healthier futures for kids like Hawkin.
Please donate if you can! This will be the third time Brett and I are riding in the Courage Classic. We love going up and riding with the Cardiac Team who saved Hawkin's life and we love meeting other Heart Warrior and Heart Angel families! We ride for all of them!
