I am participating in the Courage Classic to support the Children's Hospital of Colorado by gathering donations and doing this bike ride.
My goal is to gather at least 500 dollars (required to participate), which goes to the Children's Hospital. I am hoping to gather even more than the required amount. Some of these crazy bikers are raising like 5 grand a piece. I mean that's wild, and I don't know what kind of black magic they are cooking up to get such large sums. I can d try to dabble in such arts to get these meaningful donations, or I can get y'all to just donate. Maybe you could just send this page to your friends? Please?
So why put myself through the torture of having a bike seat pressed into my nether-regions for up to 5 or 6 hours for 2 days? Well, thinking about the amazing lyrics of Queen as they captured the spirit of two-wheeled transportation: "I like to ride my bicycle, I like to ride my bike". Pretty simple, but why not get a bunch of money for Children's Hospital as well, right?
Their program is incredible, but not limited to mental health. Obviously they have a huge spectrum of services for all medical needs, specifically for kids. The hospital is an amazing resource in Colorado and its important we don't take it for granted. By donating money, we can help families continue to receive the necessary aide and support that only a well-funded hospital can provide.
