I'm riding with Reed in our 8th year of the Children's Hospital Colorado COURAGE CLASSIC 2025 bike tour. 8 years you ask??? Yes - Reed and I have biked a lot of miles over the last several years. Many of you donated in previous years -- THANK YOU -- and I chose to not seek external funds for the last 4-5 years, but this year is YOUR opportunity to help us and Children's Hospital with a generous donation. As a bonus, ALL your donations stay in Colorado Springs as my wife Sara is the Team Captain of "Courage From The Springs" . Reed and I on our tandem, Sara, our teammates, and over 500 other riders will tackle the beautiful Summit County Colorado bike routes and trails on Saturday and Sunday, 19-20 July 2025. We're riding 60+ miles of the 80-mile Copper Triangle, then another 40+ miles on Sunday around Lake Dillon, Keystone, and Frisco, before finishing at our base camp at Copper Mountain Resort. We look forward to this event - helping raise money to the BEST team of caregivers and MOST DESERVING group of kiddos who battle disease, disability, and traumatic injuries.
As many of you know, Sara's son Reed was born with Spina Bifida and received such incredible comprehensive care and life-changing assistance to help him be a thriving, fun-loving, all accepting, adventurous, honest, creative, sensitive person. Reed enjoys our training rides preparing for this event, and loves the fun of riding with all the other riders, volunteers, and rest stop goodies (as long as the weather cooperates :)
