Founded in 1990, the Courage Classic is a two-day annual bicycle event that brings together riders, volunteers, sponsors, friends and families to support Children’s Hospital Colorado.
2025 will be my 6th year participating at some level in the Courage Classic. I return to this event each year for 2 reasons. First, it’s just an amazing event, in a beautiful part of the world (my backyard), with some truly outstanding people (You should join us!).
Second, and more importantly, I believe in this cause. It’s my cause. I have the privilege of witnessing, and participating in, the world-class healthcare Children’s Hospital Colorado delivers for children, not just of Colorado, and not just of the 7-state region we serve directly, but from across our country and beyond. This is why I changed course and became a nurse 10 years ago.
And much of the amazing work we get to do here at CHCO is a direct result of contributions raised by the Children’s Hospital Colorado Foundation through the Courage Classic. I hope you’ll join me in support of this work that truly changes lives.
And maybe come along for the ride, too!
