I am embarking on my 8th Courage Classic Bicycle Challenge! I’ll be riding with my son and heart warrior, Jeremy and my hubby Rusty (18 month's post cardiac surgery). We are on the Cardiac Climbers Team.
This means the funds we raise will go to The Children's Hospital (TCH) Heart Institute with the hope of increasing the survival of children born with Congenital Heart Disease (CHD)...the most common and deadliest disease in children.
I ride for my son, Jeremy. He was born with CHD and has miraculously survived to date thanks to Children's Hospital and a life saving ROSS procedure in 2019. There is no cure to CHD. Real tough to know this fact.
Jers is hooked up with the organization Heart Works. The do state of the art research changing skin cells to beating heart cells, saving hearts!
Please help me make my goal of $1000 to support lives like Jeremy's by donating below to support The Children's Hospital Heart Institute. Jeremy is a successful Middle School Band Director in AZ and living his life the way he chooses for now.
