Our exuberant daughter, Gabi, turned 11 this June, and we couldn’t be more proud of her for all she’s become and overcome.
It's personal!
Gabi's early years were consumed by several major surgeries and more treatments and doctor visits in that short timespan than anyone should endure in their whole life. And yet, here she is, growing, thriving and healthy!
I am constantly reminded that were it not for the specialists and resources we had access to in her early years at Children’s Hospital Colorado, Gabi might not have progressed into the healthy fifth grader she is today. She might not have made it at all!
And it's our Community!
There are thousands more kids and families that suffer similar or greater medical challenges but don't have the resources or access to the care their kids and family need. It is why I ride, fundraise and volunteer for the Courage Classic!
