This year, I’m riding in the Courage Classic with the Cardiac Climbers, and I’m dedicating my ride to Jordan Simon — a 9-year-old who truly defines what it means to be a fighter.
Jordan has faced more in her young life than most of us ever will — from battling heart failure to enduring countless life-threatening moments, all while waiting for a heart transplant. She has stared death in the face more than once, and yet, every time, she chooses to fight. She’s still fighting.
Over the past year, I’ve had the privilege of getting to know and love Jordan. She’s fierce, intelligent, and unafraid to speak her mind — sometimes feisty, always unforgettable. And once you get past her tough exterior, she’ll surprise you with her quick wit, sweet heart, and that rare ability to make you laugh and feel immense joy even on the hardest days.
Jordan doesn’t just fight — she lights up the world around her. She reminds me every day why we ride: to keep hope alive, to honor incredible kids like her, and to never give up.
Please consider donating to this wonderful cause in the name of Jordan! Thank you all!!
