This year I’ll be participating in the Courage Classic and will be riding for the Cardiac Climbers. I'm dedicating my ride to Everlee Cann-Dusenberry, also known as Evvie, Evvie Rose, and The Duchess. Evvie was a Joyful Warrior. She needed a heart transplant and was blessed with a donor heart. Unfortunately, the transplant was unsuccessful. Everlee is now looking over her wonderful family and all of us in the CPCU from above. At such a young age, Evvie taught me what joy and strength really meant. She touched so many lives without even knowing it. She was the sweetest, silliest baby girl who listened to the Harry Potter soundtrack to sleep and loved blankies, having her hands in the air, being curious, her momma and family. Because of Children’s Hospital, I was given the honor of taking care of her during her time with us.
I ride and fundraise to help raise money for the amazing cardiac patients I have the privilege of taking care of at Childrens Hospital Colorado.
