My neighbor and friend, Dr. Jean M Mulcahy Levy, is a hero. Really. She works at the Children's Hospital of Colorado helping cure children with brain cancer. Seriously. If that's not a hero I don't know what is.
I've always made a point to avoid FB fundraising and this will be the exception to that rule. I'll be bike riding in the Courage Classic this year. I would love your support to support Jean's colleagues and patients.
I ride to give hope to Children’s Hospital of Colorado patients like Piper.
Piper was diagnosed with Ewing sarcoma – a form of cancer that was growing as a soft tumor in her spine. Today, after many rounds of chemotherapy and radiation at Children’s Hospital Colorado, the creative, big-hearted elementary schooler is cancer free. Piper's family says they made it through a lot of tough days with help and support from every area of the hospital.
The Courage Classic is an opportunity to support positive outcomes and healthier futures for kids like Piper.
This is a compelling enough reason for me to take an 80 mile ride in thin Colorado Mountain air to encourage my friends to give. Please consider supporting me and this organization in this effort.
