This year I'm riding in The Courage Classic Bike Ride with the Cardiac Climbers. I'm riding to give hope to other Children’s Hospital Colorado patients, because in 2018, I was one of them.
I was born in March 2018 with undiagnosed TGA. I had The Switch when I was 7 days old and finally went home when I was a month old. Now I see my cardiologist once a year, and the last time I saw him he said from all of my test results no one would be able to tell I have TGA. This Spring I'm playing lacrosse and soccer, and I'm just as active as my older brothers who are 11 and 9. I'm doing really well thanks to all the doctors and nurses at Children's, and I'm proud to rock my scar!!!
Riding with the Cardiac Climbers is an opportunity for me and my family to support positive outcomes and healthier futures for kids like me.
