I ride to give hope to Children’s Hospital Colorado patients and their teams of professional health care providers.
What motivates me to participate in the Courage Classic? Our daughter is a registered, actively practicing nurse who specializes in Oncology and Health Care Education. Our niece(NP) and her husband (MD) specialize in Neonatal Medicine. My mother, my father and a host of friends have all passed at the hands of cancer. One of our best life-long friends lost a very young son to cancer. Noone should have to endure this kind of loss.
If riding my bike in the mountains helps fight the good fight against cancer for ANYONE and especially children... count me IN!!! Join me raising funds for this meaningful cause.
