Myles on his way to his first day at KidStreet
I ride in memory of my sweet Myles Parker Lanz.
Myles was born with a rare mitochondrial disorder that we were not aware of until his symptoms presented on his first birthday. Thanks to the phenomenal doctors at Children's Hospital Colorado, we had a diagnosis within twenty four hours of arriving at the hospital that day. With that devastating but incredibly important diagnosis, we were able to shift our focus to ensuring Myles lived out the rest of his life in comfort and surrounded by love. We ride to support the Hospital and care providers that gave us clarity and support in the most challenging months of our lives and to honor the little boy who made the lives of all those around him so much brighter.
