This will be the 2nd year I have the privilege of riding in Courage Classic after my friend & coworker, Olivia, and I completed the 79-mile Copper Loop on a tandem frame last summer. This year I'll be relegated to my own bike and chain, and will be riding to raise money for families like that of our (Copper Mountain) VP of Finance, Paul. Paul's daughter, Anna, had a long battle with cancer and spent 3 long years fighting Leukemia with the help of Children's Hospital in Colorado. Please find his family's story below:
I can't count the number of nights spent on the 7th floor, the number of nurses and doctors we talked to, the number of blood transfusions, the number of pokes, infusions, and tears. But, through it all, we will never forget the support, hugs, and love we received from the team of doctors, nurses, and support staff working at Children's Hospital. They were our family, the were a support system, they kept us moving and encouraged us to keep fighting. Please consider donating to help the next child and family in need of that same support.
