In my first courage classic, I am riding to support individuals with Epidermolysis Bullosa (EB) through the Colorado Children's Fund.
EB is a rare genetic condition that primarily affects the skin and causes painful blisters with even the slightest touch. Since 2015, I have worked with individuals with EB at Camp Knutson in Minnesota and Camp Spirit in Colorado. People with EB have taught me countless life lessons, and I am fundraising to give back to the community.
Your donations will benefit the EB clinic at Children's Hospital Colorado, one of the few multidisciplinary centers for comprehensive care for individuals with EB. Ultimately, money raised will help cover extraordinary medical expenses individuals with EB face, support ongoing research to improve the quality of life for individuals with EB, and fund translational research to find treatments and, ultimately, a cure.
Thank you for donating whatever you can towards this meaningful cause. Your support means the world to me, and I am sure it will directly impact many individuals who live with EB.
