I am honored to ride this July in The Courage Classic, a fundraiser for Children's Hospital Colorado. I have been working in the IT department for the last two years and I have learned of so many ways in which Children's Hospital helps kids.
My challenge is to ride a total of 140 miles and 11,548 ft of elevation gain through the Rocky Mountains. I will join my colleagues on the Pulmonary Pedalers Team to first complete the Copper Triangle on Saturday, July 20th. This will take us west from Copper Mountain up over Fremont Pass and down into Leadville before turning north to ascend Tennessee Pass and then descend into Minturn before heading east through Vail and then climbing Vail Pass on our way back to Copper Mountain. We'll cover 79 miles and climb 6,506 feet with the highest point being 11,330 feet. If all goes well, we'll return to Copper the next morning, this time to head east through Frisco before skirting Lake Dylan on our way to the top of Loveland Pass at just under 12,000 feet. We'll head back down and go around the other side of the lake before ascending back to Copper for a well-earned party :-)
I'm asking you to donate to my ride and the hospital's mission. Your contribution is an opportunity to support positive outcomes and healthier futures for kids all across Colorado and beyond!
Thank you!
