As you likely know, our son Brooks, is our heart warrior! He was born on August 2, 2021 and was quickly transferred to Children's Hospital of Colorado (CHCO) once his Congenital Heart Disease was found. He was born with coarction of the aorta which was surgically fixed when he was 6 days old at CHCO. He also has aortic stenosis and will need a few more open heart surgeries in his life.
Since birth, Brooks has followed with multiple departments at CHCO. Every person we've met has been patient, compassionate, and knowledgable. We feel so lucky to have such an exceptional hospital close by.
This year, I will be riding in the Courage Classic on the Cardiac Climbers team. This ride is not only a personal challenge, but also an opportunity to support positive outcomes and healthier futures for children. Please consider donating to raise money for CHCO!
