Steve and Julia Sanders will be riding in the 2024 Children’s Hospital Colorado Courage Classic on July 20th and 21st. They are riding in honor of Dillon, who was attacked by a shark on vacation last spring break and sustained severe injuries to his left leg, including damage to his knee joint, ligaments, muscles and nerves. Julia was privileged to play a part in Dillon's journey, and despite seemingly insurmountable obstacles, he has made an unbelievable recovery!
Dillon's story is a perfect example of what the Orthopedic Surgery team at Children's does to support kids recovering from traumatic injuries. Your donation in honor of Dillon will support the Musculoskeletal Research Center at the Orthopedics Institute of Children's Hospital Colorado, which is an international leader in both basic science and clinical research.
